Chehel Burj Guesthouse

The Forty Towers welcome you at all times of the year
45 Km away on the west of Yakawolang district, the remnants of the Ghurdi dynasty (12th – 13th century AD) an impressive fortress named as Chehel Burj OR Forty Towers welcome you with its magnificent architecture and beautiful landscape, so do think of a must visit to the site. The entire area reflects history, nature and beauty altogether. However, the only thing which was lacking in the area was fine lodging service, which is now fulfilled as a newly local guesthouse is established by Mr. Khan Ali with financial and technical support from the Aga Khan Foundation’s Ecotourism Program.
A locally constructed guesthouse ready for your service
The locals of the area believe Shireen used to live there and Farhad who fell in love with Shireen carved a stream of milk to get his love, but the luck did not favor and Shireen married to Khusroo. Now the tourists wishing to see the architecture of 12th or 13th century and live in a totally remote area where your phones work no more and only nature speaks, so plan for a must visit site for a couple of days. You will have all basic lodging facilities. Apart from that a well-trained tour guide will accompany you to visit the fortress; a local man to help you do fishing, walk through apple and apricot fields and watch true nature very closely.
