Often time spent in crowed leaves us wondering about our true self. Our judgmental genes begin to reassess ourselves as an individual, how we are connected to the crowd (surely to what extent in true senses) and how the crowd can influence us. Those with greater self-esteem make the moment not letting the crowd get their way. Those unaware of crowd’s influence are carried away with the crowd. And those looking at how people show their skin in crowd is normally and actually their real identity.
Dancing at the beats of Music, cheering along with friends and standing in solitary away from the crowd, I was influenced by one thing – who are we?
We chant the songs not written in our native language. We dance along with people who we know to Hello/Hi level. We cheer together thinking this is the moment – let’s make the most of it. If we are technology savvy, we take selfies – for who? Ourselves? We make best poses before camera? Is it the natural version of ours??? Some, yeah. However, the joy of living is joining the crowd to add color as different individuals not getting the crowd color. The joy is to say to ourselves, this is who I am and I am proud of it.
We join the crowd anyway for the better or the worse, but…this time, let yourself colored by crowd not with or for crowd.
The joy of living…
